De organic Fucoidan van Maritech® komt uit twee type bruin zeewier. Beide types groeien in het wild, in schoon oceaanwater en heel snel zodat het zeewiergebied in stand blijft. Het wier wordt handmatig geoogst. Fucoidan is de naam van de polysaccharide die van nature in bruin zeewier aanwezig is en die het zeewier beschermt tegen UV-schade en pathogenen in de zee.

Maritech®’s organic Fucoidan comes from two types of brown seaweed. Both species grow in the wild, in clean ocean water and ensure that the seaweed habitat is maintained. It is harvested manually. Fucoidan is the name of the polysaccharide naturally present in brown seaweed that protects the seaweed from UV damage and marine pathogens.
